• Risk-to-Reward: Roughly 1:1. Not perfect, but acceptable for this setup.
• Volatility: ATR showed healthy movement—about 12 to 15 ticks per minute. A good sign the market had energy.

Step 2: Respect Time-Based Stops

This is key. On a 1-minute chart, you shouldn’t hold a trade longer than 15–20 minutes. If your trade isn’t working by then, exit—win, lose, or breakeven.

In this case? Target hit in just 4 minutes.

Step 3: Know When to Stop Trading

After two trades—both winners—I paused. No need to force a third. The trend wasn’t strong, and discipline matters more than overtrading.
